(Dairy-Free, Keto-Friendly, Toddler-Approved!)

If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for healthy sweet treats that satisfy a craving without totally derailing your goals—or spiking your kiddo’s blood sugar. These easy frozen fudge balls have been a total game-changer in our house.

They’re dairy-free, refined sugar-free, made with real ingredients, and super customizable for your dietary needs. Oh, and did I mention toddler-approved? Yep—my son can’t get enough of these. I store them in the freezer and add one or two to his snack tray, or we share them after lunch for a guilt-free dessert.

Why You’ll Love These Frozen Fudge Bites

  • Dairy-Free & Allergy-Friendly
No cream, no butter—just smooth, plant-based ingredients that are easy on sensitive systems.
  • Keto & Sugar-Free Friendly
I use sugar-free chocolate chips to keep it low-carb and friendly for my health goals (plus, it helps me avoid the crash I used to get from sugary treats).
  • Perfect for Toddlers
The texture and taste are a hit with little ones. I store them in my Ninja Creami tub and scoop them into small balls—great for tiny hands and portion control.
  • Great for Meal Prep
Make a batch, freeze, and enjoy throughout the week. These store perfectly and hold their shape well once frozen.

My Ninja Creami Hack

Instead of pouring the fudge mixture into a baking dish and slicing it into squares, I pour it into a Ninja Creami ice cream pint container and freeze it. Once solid, I use a cookie scoop to make perfect little fudge balls.

This not only makes for a fun presentation, but it’s also a smart portion control trick—great for a midday treat or after-lunch dessert. I sprinkle coarse sea salt on top for the perfect balance of salty and sweet (trust me, don’t skip it!).

Ingredients You’ll Need

Here’s what goes into these creamy freezer fudge bites:

  • 3/4 cup cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
  • 1 bag sugar free dark chocolate chips (I use Enjoy Life, or Lakanto brand!)
  • Coarse sea salt (for topping)

Optional Add-ins:

  • Mini sugar-free chocolate chips
  • mini marshmallows
  • Chopped nuts or seeds (if tolerated)

How to Make Healthy Frozen Fudge Bites

Making these is almost too easy.

  1. Melt and Mix
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the entire bag of chocolate chips until smooth. I check and mix after 30 seconds, and add time in 15 second intervals
  2. Add Coconut Yogurt
Stir in coconut yogurt- make sure the yogurt is not too cold, I usually leave it out while I melt the chocolate chips. The texture should be like thick brownie batter.
  3. Freeze
Pour into a Ninja Creami pint container (or any freezer-safe container). Smooth the top, cover, and freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
  4. Scoop & Serve
Once frozen, use a cookie scoop to form balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and pop back in the freezer until ready to serve.

Tips & Tricks

  • Texture Too Soft? Chill longer before scooping. I generally chill overnight.
  • Want a Protein Boost? Mix in a scoop of your favorite unflavored or chocolate plant-based protein powder.
  • Fun for Kids: Let them help scoop the fudge balls or decorate with sugar-free sprinkles.
