How to make a Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake

Dump all your Ingredients into a Blender. Place all the ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. This might take about 20-30 seconds.

Pro-Tip: If you are using the Blendtec Blender, use either the Ice Crush or Smoothie button. Both seem to work equally well!

What else can I add to my Protein Shake?

I love dumping in my daily dose of essential vitamins, minerals, etc. that I might be missing from my diet OR that my kids might be missing from their diet. Below is a list of ingredients you can consider adding (and no one would even know)!

  • Coconut Milk – A great substitute for regular Milk or Almond Milk
  • Chia Seeds – Chia Seeds contain a large amount of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids as well as being high in protein, and several essential minerals and antioxidants.
  • Flax Seeds – Flax Seeds are also rich is omega-3 fatty acids, but also contain lignans and fiber. Flax Seeds are great because they can be used to improve digestive health and lower blood pressure and bad cholesterol.

Non-Keto Protein Shake Additions

These additions are not Keto-friendly, but perfect for your non-keto family members or kids if you are making these shakes on the fly and looking to replace a full meal.

  • Oats
  • Bananas

Blendtec Blender

If you are unfamiliar with Blendtec, Starbucks used Blentec blenders for years before switching to Vitamix. So if you are in the market for a blender, you know your blender will withstand the test of time.

Personally, I love my Blendtec and use it at least once a day! Even after over 3000 uses (this doesn’t include the pulse button), it works as well as it did on the first day I got it!

blendtec

Blendtec is built to last with a metal-on-metal design as opposed to Vitamix and Ninja which is plastic-on-plastic; and when it comes to power, Blendtec is the clear winner with a 3.0 peak HP motor, compared to the other 2.0 HP motors.

Can you drink protein shakes on keto diet?

Yes! Truthfully, most people will likely meet their daily protein needs through their regular diet. However, if you are struggling to meet your needs or are looking to replace a meal, protein powders offer a convenient and easy way to increase your intake. Many people, including myself at times (or on super busy days) will completely replace a mean with a keto protein shake.

Be honest, who wouldn’t want to be healthy, but feel like they are drinking dessert with this Keto chocolate peanut butter protein shake?

What is the best keto protein shake?

This one! (wink, wink)

There are many keto protein shake recipes out there; many good, some great, and some not so great. It is truly based on personal preference and flavor.

If you are looking for a store bought keto-friendly protein shake, I recommend Premier Protein.

Can I just drink protein shakes to lose weight?

Although protein shakes are great, you need to consume more than just shakes to live a healthy and well balanced life.

If weight loss is your goal, I recommend chatting with your doctor or nutritionist for expert medical advice that is best for YOU, your body, and your health.
